With so many men’s robes available at Baturina, you’ve probably wondered which one is right for you. From heavy velvet to quilted jacquard designs, we’ve crafted this cozy guide for covering everything you need to know before you buy!

Warm and lightweight men’s robes
How warm a robe is depends on multiple components. Fiber, composition, weaving and lining all contribute to how cold or warm you might feel. There are many options:
- Heavy and thick cotton velvet and wool flannel
- Densely woven jacquard, usually cotton or blended fabric
- Thin fabrics that come in plain or jacquard quality (satin, plain cotton, linen etc.)
- Lightweight and warming thick fleece
At Baturina, we combine different fabrics to create our robes. For example our heavy velvet and wool robes are paired with a thin satin liner, while we also offer a range of plain cotton robes with an extra warm and thick fleece lining. Cotton jacquard robes, the ones with intricate patterns, are usually the middle ground in terms of temperature.

Now that you have chosen you’re preferred fabrics and style, it’s time to figure out the size and length.
Here at Baturina, you can choose from a wide range of standard clothing sizes and a fully custom tailored version. Additionally, the length of your robe is fully customizable and you can choose from short to floor length. This is completely unique to Baturina and we’re the only store that offers so much in-depth size customization!
Where and how are the robes made?
All our robes are fully made in Germany, from start to finish. We do not outsource production in other countries. It’s all made locally in our own studio, which we are very proud of. Our skilled experts work individually on every single order, meaning one robe is fully made by one person. From intricate quilting, full lining, to elegant piping and tassels, our designs feature many complex details, that you won’t find in most clothes nowadays.
