At this time, we do not offer custom logo embroidery.
We offer a custom fit option for an additional fee.
However, we do not modify the actual sewing pattern of the dressing gown. The shape of the collar, sleeves, cuffs, pockets and belt cannot be modified and we do not add padding, slits, buttons and similar alterations.
Creating a custom dressing gown is an exciting way to express your style and preferences. To help you design a beautifully balanced piece, we’ve compiled some essential tips.
Velvet or Wool for Maximum Warmth
For a robe that keeps you warm during chilly seasons, we recommend velvet or wool as your base fabric. Both materials are naturally insulating and provide a plush, luxurious feel. We highly recommend satin lining for velvet or wool robes, as its smooth surface makes it easier to put on and ensures a comfortable glide over your skin. If you prefer a more natural option, cotton lining is available, but be mindful that it may cling slightly to the wool or velvet.
For the ultimate in winter protection, consider adding a fleece lining to your robe. This extra layer makes the gown exceptionally warm and winter-proof, perfect for cold nights or frosty mornings.
Match Fabrics and Trims for Perfect Balance
When choosing your robe’s materials, it’s important to pair fabrics and trims that complement each other in weight and texture. For example, avoid combining lightweight body fabrics, such as paisley jacquard, with heavier trims like cotton velvet or cord piping. These can overwhelm the lighter fabric, causing uneven draping.
Lightweight fabrics, such as cotton or lightweight jacquard, are best combined with standard piping or satin trim fabric. These trims are light enough to maintain the fabric’s delicate drape.
Best Matches for Cord Piping
Cord piping is an elegant trim option, but it requires the right fabric to shine. It pairs beautifully with velvet, wool, or medium-weight jacquard fabrics, as these materials offer the sturdiness needed to support the piping without compromising the overall structure of the gown.
