The Best Summer Robes to Beat the Heat

Designed for warm days, open windows, and travel lightness, this collection brings together four distinct fabrics, each chosen for its breathability, durability, and quiet elegance. These are not seasonal pieces you forget when summer ends. They are timeless companions, especially for those just beginning to explore the world of refined loungewear and wondering where to start.

Whether you are packing for a weekend away, stepping onto a balcony with your morning coffee, or unwinding at a resort by the sea, these robes are made to follow you effortlessly.

Seersucker: The King of Summer

Few fabrics are as closely tied to warm weather as seersucker.

Defined by its signature puckered texture, seersucker is woven in a way that lifts parts of the fabric away from the skin. This subtle structure improves airflow and prevents the material from clinging, making it exceptionally comfortable in heat.

Our interpretation comes in a timeless palette of blue and off-white stripes, a classic that feels both fresh and familiar.

If there is one robe that captures the spirit of summer in its purest form, this is it.

Linen: Structure Meets Air

Linen is, in many ways, the essence of summer. Naturally breathable and highly absorbent, it cools the body while maintaining a sense of presence.

Our linen robes are cut from sturdy, structured weaves that feel substantial at first touch. Over time, with daily wear, the fibers soften and relax, revealing their true character. The slightly coarse texture becomes part of the experience, a reminder that this is a natural material, alive in its transformation.

Perfect for drying off after a swim, cooling down in the heat, or simply lounging with intention, linen is the foundation of effortless summer living.

Cotton Flannel: A Gentle Counterpoint

Summer is not always about heat. There are cooler mornings, shaded terraces, and evenings that call for something softer, slightly warmer, yet still breathable.

For this, we turned to a rare find: a deadstock Italian cotton flannel in vibrant orange and royal blue. Lightweight, smooth, and comforting without heaviness, it offers a refined alternative to the typical bathrobe.

This robe is understated and versatile, a true wardrobe staple. It suits the man who values elegance but prefers it expressed in a quiet, approachable way.

Muslin Cotton: Lightness, Redefined

For those who seek something softer, almost weightless, our muslin cotton robes offer a different kind of comfort.

We use a double-gauze muslin, a fabric made from two ultra-fine layers of cotton gently woven together. This construction creates tiny air pockets between the layers, allowing heat to escape while maintaining a soft, cloud-like texture against the skin.

The result is a robe that feels barely there, yet remains durable enough for everyday wear.

Finished in elegant striped patterns and rich, joyful color combinations, these pieces bring a sense of ease and quiet optimism to summer dressing.

Made in Germany

All pieces are cut and sewn locally in our studio in Hamburg. We work in a small, controlled environment with full visibility over how each garment is made. This ensures consistent quality, responsible working conditions, and a significantly shorter supply chain compared to global mass production. Every robe can be traced back to where and how it was made.

For many, a robe is an afterthought. Something practical, something temporary.

We see it differently.

A well-made dressing gown becomes part of your daily rhythm. It frames slow mornings, accompanies late evenings, and creates a sense of presence even in the most private moments.

That is why these pieces also make meaningful gifts. For a son stepping into his own space, for a brother, a partner, a husband, or a father. Not just something to wear, but something to grow into.
