How a robe is made from start to finish Featuring The Vintagearian

At Baturina Homewear, every robe tells a story. Not only through its fabrics and design, but through the hands that make it. To celebrate this artistry, we teamed up with The Vintagearian, also known as Vinti, whose eye for timeless elegance and love of craftsmanship beautifully align with our philosophy.

Together, we set out to showcase what lies behind each stitch: the precision, the techniques, and the dedication of a small team creating something lasting and real.

Quite often in fashion, it is ambiguous how something is made. Is it handmade, or made by robots? Are the working conditions ethical? Usually these questions are left without answers. That is why we at Baturina Homewear are very proud of our craftsmanship and being able to give our customers ethically made robes and pajamas, all made in Hamburg, Germany.

Through Vinti’s lens, this collaboration captures not just our robes, but the spirit of authenticity behind them: the beauty of fabric becoming form and the human touch that no machine can replace.

For this custom creation, Vinti opted for our camel brown wool, navy and white striped cord piping and soft striped viscose lining with white and blue stripes. Head over to Vinti’s Instagram page to see the finished robe in person!
